J. Michael Smith, MD is a highly-skilled cardiothoracic surgeon serving the Kettering and surrounding community. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Smith's commitment to his patients mirrors the network’s mission to improve the quality of life of the people in the communities we serve.
Dr. Smith’s scope of service includes cardiac surgery, coronary bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement and MAZE procedure for atrial fibrillation.
